Sian Hookins is a multi-media artist based in Kent. Her practice explores the intimacy between ourselves, our bodies and the spaces we exist within. Often, this stems from her experiences as a woman. Working and playing with soft materials, Hookins creates sculptural forms that consider both the internal and external body. Her research is largely material based which, along with an exploration of shape, texture, and colour, direct her practice.
